A fine test of golf and one of the most outstanding parkland courses in the Lothians and Scotland.

Established in 1895 the course has a rich history, in Gaelic its name mean “sunny side of the hill”, and the course is set in the shadow of Arthur’s Seat, an 800 foot high extinct volcano with the meandering Braid Burn a key feature

Once you have worked your way up through the boarders you finally arrive at Scotland’s capital and an array of courses to choose from, there are around 50 courses within 10 miles of the city and one of the finest yet most underrated is The Musselburgh club.
